My Five Favorite Christmas Songs – #1

Alright everyone, the big moment has arrived. Thanks to all of you who’ve stopped by to listen to the songs in the countdown.

Number One on my list…is ‘Silent Night’ by Kenny Chesney.

It’s a no-brainer for me. This is my Mom’s favorite Christmas song and this version of it just happens to be sung by my favorite singer – and his Mom. You can’t beat that.

Blessings to all of you this Christmas. May the season be magical for you and yours.

My Five Favorite Christmas Songs – #2

Alright friends, we’re almost there! Number Two is a cheery little tune from Owl City and TobyMac.

‘Light of Christmas’ should leave you with a smile on your face. See you back here tomorrow for the finale!

(But first, here are three more songs that almost made the list.)

My Five Favorite Christmas Songs – #3

Hi everyone, welcome back to the countdown.

We’re going overseas for today’s song. Number Three on my list is this vocally perfect version of ‘The Holly and the Ivy’ by the Norwich Cathedral Choir, a staple in my annual Christmas music rotation.

You may have to listen to this one a few times to truly appreciate it. The combination of the voices and the way they carry the notes is simply phenomenal. Enjoy!

My Five Favorite Christmas Songs – #4

Ok folks, back at it again today. Here’s Number Four on my list – ‘Joy to the World’ by Chris Tomlin.

Love the energy and well, JOY in this one. Christmas is a joyous occasion after all, so let’s sing about it! Joy, unspeakable joy.

My Five Favorite Christmas Songs – #5

This just sounded like a fun thing to do, so here goes. Coming in at Number Five…an a cappella gem from a group called Pentatonix.

‘That’s Christmas to Me’ takes me back to Christmas time as a kid. Some great harmonies in the song and some great memories to go with it.

Enjoy and check back tomorrow for the next song!
