If You’re Looking for a Movie

Check this one out. It’s called Greater and it is a powerful and inspiring story.

My wife and sons and I watched this movie today. Everyone in the room agreed it was time well spent. Hope you enjoy it, too.

The Cubs Won The World Series

Yes, I am well aware that some time has now passed since this happened, but I’ve been busy. 🙂

The Cubs won the World Series.

I could get used to saying that.

It was an incredible season and the memories made, watching (and agonizing over) the games with family, will never be forgotten. What an amazing experience for us and for all Cubs fans.

My “W” flag has been flying in front of the house since the night they won it all, and will be staying out there until the 2017 season begins. Gotta love it.

Go Cubs, Go!

Six

Wow. I just got a notification that this blog is six years old today. Cool!

I hadn’t thought about how long it had been since this little project got started. Over the years, things have changed a bit, however one thing that has stayed the same is my appreciation for YOU for stopping by and checking this place out.

Thanks a lot for reading, thanks a lot for commenting, thanks a lot for your encouragement, thanks a lot for just being you.

Have a great day and here’s to another fun year of blogging!

Don’t Be That Driver

Don't Be That Driver

This is National Work Zone Awareness Week.

What is that, you ask? Well, it’s a week set aside every year to bring attention to the importance of driving safely through highway work zones.

Why does that matter? It matters, because work zones are offices for some people. That’s right, often times they work just a few feet away from moving traffic!

That’s why it’s so important to slow down and pay attention whenever you drive through a work zone. The people who work in them want to get home to see their families, and their families want them to get home safely.

So, please, “Don’t Be That Driver”…take your foot off the gas, put your phone away and focus on the road. Thank you for doing your part to help keep work zones safe!

Have a great day.
