Fortress

When my fear is overwhelming, on Your promise I will stand. You are faithful to the end…

Our hands are lifted up, the King of Glory fights for us! One word will rise above, in Jesus’ name we overcome!

Gotta be honest, I am unable to listen to this song without getting completely fired up about the love that Christ has for me…and for all of us. He loves us, friends. That’s something to celebrate and take complete comfort in. Nothing that could ever come against us is too much for our God to handle.

Thank you God for being our mighty fortress!

What’s Right

It’s hard to see what’s right or good about something if you’re focused on what’s wrong with it or not so good about it.

Your actions will follow your thoughts so make them positive ones, not negative. Think victory, not defeat.

Perspective is so important. It turns neutral situations into good ones or bad ones, depending on which way we choose to look at them.

Just a reminder to myself today…and anyone else who might benefit from it 🙂

Amen to that!

It’s so important to think positive. Negative thinking will not take you anywhere good. Sure, it’s easier to think things won’t go your way or that you can’t do something…but that’s not the path to victory.

We were not made to think we can’t do things or live in defeat. Just the opposite, in fact (Mark 11:22-24).

So think positive. Do what the quote above says to do. Trust that God’s in control and that things are going to work out just fine. Believe you can.
