Help Me Find It

If there’s a road I should walk, help me find it. If I need to be still, give me peace for the moment. Whatever Your Will, can You help me find it?

Those particular lyrics of this song apply to me right now. At a crossroads of sorts with part of my life.

Everything is good, really good in fact, just looking at a possible change in (my) plans. Excited about what God is doing, but at the same time, a bit nervous and slightly confused about what may be ahead and what His plans are!

I’m going to trust God and pray for Him to do whatever He wants with this. It’s His life, not mine. If you’re the praying type, please feel free to pray for discernment and wisdom for me, to help me find it. 🙂

Things Get Better

Amen to that. Sharing this today for anyone who may be struggling or battling negativity right now.

Trust God. His ways are greater than ours and He can turn something that doesn’t seem so good into something amazing. Have faith and see what He can do in your life.

Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:3
The LORD gives perfect peace to those whose faith is firm.

Amen to this! Your obedience to God by having faith in Him, no matter what your circumstances, will be rewarded. He knows our hearts and loves when we trust Him completely.

What to Believe

‘We believe what people tell us. But we can trust what God says even more.’
-1 John 5:9a

I read this today and it stuck with me.

There are a lot of voices out there. Ours, the many other people in our various circles, near and far. Voices on television, the internet – so many people saying things.

Whether it is people we know or people who aren’t talking directly to us at all, we have so many voices in our ear all the time. So out of all of this information and opinion, what do we believe?

Some of what is said to us is what we consider good. Some of it isn’t. It’s a lot to process, and a lot to think about sometimes.

But in the end, as the verse above states…regardless of what we’re hearing, we can believe and trust in what God says about us above everything else.

It’s so important to do that. I don’t do the best job of it, I’ll be the first to admit it. That’s putting it lightly. But seeking approval and affirmation from God above all the other voices is where true peace will be found. It’s where we will find our real answers.

So while it’s ok to listen to all of the voices that are there, trust what God says about you the most and go with that. You’ll never go wrong if you do.
