National Child Passenger Safety Week

This is National Child Passenger Safety Week and September 21st has been designated as National Seat Check Saturday. If you have children who use car seats, this is a good opportunity to visit a child safety seat inspection station and have a certified technician inspect your car seat to make sure it is properly installed. It’s also a chance to get hands-on advice at no cost.

Here is a list of safety check locations, searchable by state: http://www.nhtsa.gov/apps/cps/index.htm

You can also click on the logo below for some helpful information about which car seat you should use and other child passenger safety tips.

Please share this information with parents you know. Thanks and have a good day!

Pray for Oklahoma

For the safety of those working to help or find people.

For peace for those who have lost loved ones.

For strength in the days and weeks to come as many are weary from having nowhere to go home to right now.

For miracles that those who may still be trapped and alive will be found and brought to safety.

For hope for everyone impacted by the tornado, that they will know God is with them.

You’re in my prayers, Oklahoma.

Sandy

Would you take a minute to say a prayer for the folks in the path of this storm? Those who have already experienced it, and those who will be very soon.

Meanwhile, for anyone in the northeast United States who might be reading this: Please take this storm and the warnings that come with it seriously. Don’t try to go out and check out the scene – now or immediately after the storm. Let the emergency personnel do what they need to do.

Each One of Your Concerns

Psalm 62:8
Trust God, my friends and always tell him each one of your concerns. God is our place of safety.

Whatever is on your mind, tell God about it.

No matter where you are in life, you’ll always have someone there to listen to each one of your concerns and a place of safety in a world that isn’t always safe.

Have a good day.
