No matter how many times I come across this verse, it always seems to be helpful. I happened to read it this morning and it was a good reminder. Here you go…one day at a time!
Matthew 6:34
Don’t worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.

Wow. Those words hit me when I heard them this morning.
What a concept! Asking God to help us fit into His plans, instead of asking Him to fit into ours.
Man, I’ve been really good at making that second request in the previous sentence. “God, just help me do what I want to do. Help make these things that I want to happen, happen.”
This was a good reminder for me today to spend more time praying for what He would like to see come to fruition in my life, instead of just all the things I’m looking for.
