Life has a way of bringing what seem to be mountains into the path of where you are and where you feel your happiness lies. Those mountains can look mighty tall, I’ll attest to that from personal experience. But you’ll make it. Like the song says, it’s not as high as you think it is.

And remember, you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil 4:13) so hang in there. Choose to find the joy in the moment you’re in, even though it may be hard to do it. It will serve you well, and that mountain will start looking a lot smaller before you know it.

Can Do

Happy Monday everyone.

Just a little encouragement today, to take a ‘Can Do’ attitude into the week ahead.

Whatever it might be that’s presenting a challenge in your life, believe that you can do it. Whether it’s something in your work life, your personal life, or whatever it is…you can do it and you can do it well.

God has given you all the strength you need. You just have to believe it.

You Can Do Everything

Yes, you read that correctly. You can do everything.

Not many things. Not some things. Not just one or two things. Not everything except the one thing you think you can’t do. Nope, believe it or not you can do EVERYTHING.

Here’s why I believe that and also why I am writing this today:

Philippians 4:13 “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

This may be my favorite verse in the Bible. I need to hear it – often. To me it’s a reminder that no problem, no stressor, no fear, no worry, no situation, no trouble…nothing…is too much to overcome when God is in control.

I don’t know what it is about us as humans but we all (myself very much included) have this desire to be in control. I have been reminded over and over and over again that it just doesn’t work out very well when we try to have total control over our lives. I could list countless examples of this both in my life and in the lives of others.

And so, I just thought I would share that verse today. Maybe you’re struggling with something and don’t feel like you have the ability to get through it, get past it, get over it, or get around it. I hope you’ll feel otherwise after reading that verse.

I’d also like to share the following song as a reminder of what faith can do. Have a great day today and remember, as the song says, impossible is not a word. Nothing is impossible. You can do everything. God has all the strength you need to get through anything in life. All you have to do is ask.
