This is something we look for – in people, in things we own, in all kinds of ways.
Granted, it doesn’t always work that way. Cars break down. Cell phone service isn’t always great. Friends can be flaky. Business associates may not always get the job done. And, on and on.
We get frustrated when things aren’t dependable. But, it’s going to happen sometimes. It’s just the way it is.
At the same time, we are blessed with 100% dependability from one source…
Psalm 36:5
Your love is faithful, LORD, and even the clouds in the sky can depend on you.
So next time you’re sour on something like what I described above, just think of this and remember that God is dependable and always will be. In the end, that’s all that really matters 🙂
