Forgive More

Reading a Facebook post of a friend of mine has this topic on my mind this morning. It’s about forgiving others.

Friends, forgiveness isn’t something that’s optional…it’s required of us. We’re not given the right to hold a grudge, or hold back forgiveness toward others.

After all no one walking this Earth is perfect, but thankfully we are forgiven when we simply ask for it. And so, we should readily offer the same for others.

Forgive more. Condemn less.

Condemn Less, Love More

James 4
11My friends, don’t say cruel things about others! If you do, or if you condemn others, you are condemning God’s Law. And if you condemn the Law, you put yourself above the Law and refuse to obey either it 12or God who gave it. God is our judge, and he can save or destroy us. What right do you have to condemn anyone?

These two verses are (in my humble opinion) so important for us to internalize.

We are called to edify, not vilify and we as people need to condemn each other less and love each other more.

It really is time to make a change for the better. Let’s choose love. Who’s with me?
