Even during this absolutely crazy year of 2020, with so many changes and so many struggles here on this Earth…one thing has not changed.
Psalms 102:27
You are always the same. You are God for all time.
I don’t know about you, but this gives me reason for having joy. He is with us, through it all. Yes!

You, Lord, are the light that keeps me safe. I am not afraid of anyone. You protect me, and I have no fears.
Psalm 139:13-18
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand – when I awake, I am still with you.
We shared this passage with the students in our youth group this week. Sharing with you here today to remind you that you are God’s amazing creation. Don’t ever forget that. Repeat it to yourself a few times if you have to: I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
You are unique and special and well-loved. His love is sufficient, friends.

It can be easy to forget about God or to not depend on Him enough when things are going well. This verse is a great reminder to give Him praise all the time!
And hey, if things aren’t going well for you, it’s also a reminder that there is plenty to still be thankful for.

Our LORD, you always do right, and your decisions are fair.
I read this verse the other day and it spoke to me.
Regardless of what we might think of as ‘fair’ in this life, God’s decisions are always fair. It was a good reminder to me and helped me from a perspective standpoint when I read it…just thought I’d share it here with you today.
