Proper Perspective

“We all need to take a big step back, reflect, and ask ourselves this one question: ‘Why don’t we put this same amount of effort into making the world a better place by donating our time, talents and/or money?’ Turn all this negativity into something positive and be the change you want to see in the world, instead of the alternative.”
-Rachel Buckner

Amen.

The author is spot-on with her assessment of what needs to happen next, after so much name-calling and finger pointing that has happened these past several months, and is still continuing today.

Channel your feelings into something positive, friends.

Have a great day!

  1. At this time I have no perspective at all. I have to take several steps back – hibernation looks good at this time – the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

    1. Thank you for the honesty. Completely understand the need to step back. I think we all need to do this. Our country has always been divided and it seems that’s never been the case more than now. As a neutral party here, I just wish everyone could start being nicer to each other. Too much “my way is right, your way is wrong” from both sides. In the end, we are all people living together in this place. I liked Rachel’s quote because it talks about doing something positive, instead of ripping on each other. Ah well. Good thing is, God is in charge, and not politicians of either (or any) party. Will continue to be thankful for that!
