Peace in Ferguson

The grand jury has apparently reached a decision in the case involving Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson. At issue: Whether or not Wilson will face charges in the death of Michael Brown. You know the story, you don’t need me to expand on it.

This post is simply a prayer for peace, regardless of what is announced today.

God, please bless the people of Ferguson and points beyond and let Your peace fill everyone who has been impacted by this incident. I pray that anyone thinking of doing harm to other people or to property will think otherwise and choose peace instead of violence. Let love win over hate. Bring us together as people and not apart, LORD. Thank you. In Jesus’ name.

Amen.
