There is power in weakness, friends. It might not make sense at first but when you think about it a bit, it will.
There are so many things I am weak at and that I fail at, but when I put my trust in God and follow His plan for my life, then those weaknesses and failures are turned into strengths and successes through the power of His love and forgiveness.
If none of this makes sense to you, well, all I can say is trusting God works for me. When things here on Earth make no sense and when those downfalls and shortcomings start rearing their ugly heads, trusting that God has a good plan for my life and focusing on what He wants me to do makes all of the chaos seem calm.
Through every weakness – and I have so many – God gives me strength. As a result, there is power in weakness. For that I am thankful beyond any words I could type here.
Have a good day.
I have been echoing this same revelation since February of this year. I really don’t see weakness as a thing to be worried about if and only one can trust God, like you said. The dictionary defines weakness as something that restrict or limits. As new breeds of God we don’t live in such consciousness. We live in the ability of Christ, and there is nothing on this earth He can’t do. I have done a lot of things at my weakness best….the reason being that, I only focus on the exerting influence of God’s life upon mine. Thanks for sharing
