Real Confidence

Real confidence comes from knowing and accepting yourself, your strengths and your limitations, in contrast to depending on affirmation from others. -Judith M. Bardwick

I found this quote today and thought I’d share it. It speaks volumes about getting in touch with yourself and knowing who you are, and the importance of doing so.

I’ll admit, it’s still a work in progress for me…but I’m getting there.

Too many times in my life I’ve been a person who has depended on affirmation from others. I’m working on changing that and trying to figure out exactly who I am in the process. It’s not the most comfortable thing to do but it’s necessary to do it.

What about you? Do you know yourself, or is it time for you to take a closer look?

Here’s to figuring it all out and having faith that God will provide the answers as well as the peace and confidence to just be ourselves 🙂

Have a great day everyone.
